Spaceman Spiff Junior Member Last Online: Dec 27th, 2011 18:42 Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire	Steering Rack Gaiters Just had the car fail MOT on steering rack Gaiters split , I went and got an after market set from my local motor factors, £12.99. did the near side one, easy job, then came to do the off side. What a pig to get at, (I used to have a citroen XM, I know, I know.... WHY!!) and thought the gaiters were bad to do on that, this came a very close second. Thankfully the ones I bought were quite soft and I could squeeze the inner end over the rack end, if they had been really stiff like the ones that came off I would have been pulling half the underside of the car off to get at it.
