Default V70 d5 2002 cranks over but won't start

Hi people got this volvo

run out of dezzy the other day

Put more fuel in started okay drove home ....next day Wont start

New filter no joy

Got fuel up to the injectors ......like the injecorts are staying shut

Plug the code reader in no codes I think my silly mate cleared them

Anyway live dater showed rpm at 0 even when cranking is that right ?

Fuel rail pressure was up and down up 1800 then to 300 kp

Can u help me please

tries to start with easy start.

Is this the right forum and the right place cheers guys

You need 20000kPa to start and 0rpm will explain your low pressure figure.
I'm guessing the pressure regulator isn't allowing pressure to build because it doesn't "know" the engine is turning sufficiently.
Your injectors won't be told to open with these figures which is why it only splutters on Easy Start and doesn't continue to fire on it's own.
My first guess would be a failed crank sensor not reporting an otherwise healthy cranking rpm.

good man least some one knows there stuff on here ��

Thought it would be crank sensor I'm only using a blue point reader didn't even know how to turn it on for the first five mins..lol

Il grab a sensor tmorrow and let u know

Help help can't get a crank sensor / speed sensor rpm... Mine has a two pin A foot of wire every sensor in getting out the books at the local gsf euro car parts is one with no wire witch don't fit into my clip on my loom ?? Also the bolt hole is off and is 3/4 inch smaller than the one I have took out many thanks please help do I get the newer sensor out the scrapyard and cut the the two wires and solder to my clip to suit my loom hard to describe on a I fone I eyes are aching

New crank sensor fitted getting a reading know about 300 rpm

Fuel pressure pump is kicking loads of juice out when I remover the fuel Metering-valve when I crank it

Also I did try a leak of test with just starter Motior for 1 min they was less than 20 mil

Also now when u turn the ignition on most the Time I have gauges no lights ..would the dim be at fault because it still didn't start before the dim started acting up sounds so much like an elecric fault

everything still works ie windows starter would this give me crazy fuel pessure on live data many thanks for the replies
