But the roof folds into it's own little storage area so I don't think it will make a lot of difference to be honest. I'll see how I get on, maybe I'll be able to leave it up anyway

I was going to have a look at this today but I've been out a couple of times and it's just too hot! I'm right in the sun so I might have a look this evening if it's a bit cooler.
I couldn't see an easy way to route the power cable though, I was planning on running back to the battery as it already has an in line fuse on the sub, but the fuse is only 5 amps so it's got me wondering if I could just tap into a constant 12v feed from somewhere else. As that is kind of a seperate topic though and not specific to this install I will start another thread about power feeds in the boot

Just tag it off the power wires that are going to the electric aerial as its in the area you need and is backed by a 30A fuse, the aerial only needs power when it moving up or down so there is plenty of spare reserve from those wires - Mike

Hi, I've had my C70 convertible apart for installing the rear seat subs. Found the connectors for the speakers, and even found the on off switch connector in the centre consol. I have not located the filters/crossovers connector plugs. Had a good look, but have not found any "spare" connectors that the filters could plug into. Can any one shed any light on where these might be, and could something be plugged into them to complete the circuit when no subs were installed?

Can anyone explain where I would find the connectors for the sub woofer filters. I've found the actual speaker connectors and the one for the switch, just not the ones for the filters, and can't see anything that looks like the female end for the units I have. Could they have a connection to compensate for not having the subs fitted to start with. From the units I have they would be white/cream coloured and be quite chunky as there appears to be quite a number of wires to connect.
