Default Parts across models

I'm currently working on my 2005 C70 Mk1 and am going to be looking for a lot of parts, usually to search eBay etc I'll use C70 in my search but I'm wary that I may be missing out on parts that will fit but people are advertising as being from another model.

Is there any way to tell which parts fit from other Volvos? For example does the V70 share a good number of parts or is that just wistful thinking?

I'm looking for all sorts, from interior and carpets (which obviously are specific to the model) but also things like a new steering wheel, manual gearstick nob and the likes of engine parts etc.

Any help on cross model identification would be very much appreciated.

This will obviously depend on specific parts, but generally mechanical parts are the same. Obvious exceptions being: front suspension arms, front subframe bushes, subframe braces, rear delta arms and wheels are C70 specific. The bonnet and grille are the only body panels that are the same, likewise with the interior only the dash and switches are the same.
