looking at a 440
I've found a 1995 440 1.8 si for sale and as long as the people going to look at it before me dont buy it then ill be going to have a look on sunday after work. The car itself is only £300 and he says it has all receipts from new, im more interested in the fact its cheap, looks decent and has an mot until 7/15, no idea what to check for so any help would be appreciated. I know the arches get crusty on these and unfortunately this one is no exception but i only really plan to use it until the mot goes or my 740s on the road (which ever comes first, unless i take a liking to it) so it looks ok for the moment. Its done 146k, ive no idea how well these engines fair but i wouldn't be doing high mileage as its mainly to get to work and back. What sort of mpg's should i expect realistically (i drive like a stereotypical volvo driver)?
Cheers Jason
