Default XC90 stereo 05

Hi All first time posting but have read lots of issues that I can relate to with my XC90, but my question is what exactly the stereo controls because the rear park assist goes through it and requires a service but none of the sensors click and switch doesn’t illuminate, speakers cut in and out and on the rare occasion it cuts out. Is it all down to the stereo or do I need to get it plugged into Vida and if so will Vida tell me if the stereo is the cause of these issues?

Cheers
Dan

The stereo system is a complex system, with multiple devices connected via fiber optics: radio receiver, amplifier, CD player, control unit and display, subwoofer, phone, navigation, and more.

You can do simple tests to check each speaker, like listen to the radio, and user Fader and Balance controls to test each speaker in the vehicle

The rear parking sensors sound through the rear passenger door speaker. So if the speaker is not working, you will have no sound

VIDA will help a lot to understand what is working OK and what not.
You can read faults and status data and deduce a lot with very little effort.
