Hi all,

There is a 740 face lift diesel saloon for on Autotrader "not mine". It looks like a good one and definatly worth buying as good ones areare getting hard to come by.
I would have this but its too far away.... :-(

Im gutted that this is so far away. It would make a nice project to convert it to a flat front, truck turbo, 302 brake upgrade, double sway bar conversion, pump mod.......ohhh and a set of commet wheels....yum!

As an aside, how come you so often see in a car ad the phrase, "nice car for its age"?

Surely it is either a nice car or its not a nice car, regardless of age.

I guess it means it not pristine as it is like 20 odd years old. But still good.
