Default 740 GLE salon auto 1989

I am advertising this car for an elderly gentleman neighbour of my fathers. I know nothing about this car, the description that follows was written by my father who has seen the car. please DO NOT PM, I very rarely log in to the forum ring the telephone number provided, speak to my father (Gary) and he will be able to answer any questions. 07762956668

The car is a 1990 740 GLE auto saloon, metallic light blue
Mileage 168,153
Location Sixpenny Handley (Dorset)
Price £600 but open to offers

The current owner has owned the car for 17.5 years!!! He is the second owner.

The car is equipped with black leather seats heated. The interior is in good condition over all but could benefit from a afternoons cleaning. All the electrics, windows and mirrors work as they should.

Bodywork is in pretty good shape, with the exception of the boot lid where the lacquer has begun to craze. There is also a slight bit of damage to the NS rear wheel arch. Furthermore it has a broken rear tail light.

The car runs well and has been serviced regularly for the last 17 years at the local garage. The oil is clean it does not appear to be leaking.

The elderly gentleman who owns this car has been forced to give up driving. The car has been stood for some months in the garage where it has always been kept and the MOT has subsequently lapsed. It has NO MOT!
