Default Wanted: Pair of Rear calipers PH1 v40 T4

Hi Folks,

I went to change my rear brake pads to day and found one of the pistons siezed.
I cant be arsed to try and free it up as its wont compress when a throw a load of elbow grease and massive C Clamp at it plus the handbrake keeps siezing open every winter so its time to replace.

I'm after a pair of rear calipers in good working order that will fir a PH1 T4 V40

Any on got some squirreled away they want to let go?

Cheers!

Neil

If you have no joy on here I would advise you to bite the bullet and buy a refurbed pair (~ €90) from your local motor factor and return your old ones. You want the phase 2 calipers because they have the handbrake return spring, unlike the phase 1 caliper, so just tell the motor factors that they're for a 53 reg X40

I have a set of used rear calipers but they are the later Phase 2 ones with the spring. They should be a straight fit anyway and you will have the added bonus of the spring assisting the return of the handbrake mechanism
