Default Home Safe Lights

Hi - i've got a 2005MY V70 - it's got the home safe lights - operated by the yellow button on the remote or pulling on the flasher stalk

I've just noticed an issue - when I operate the lighting via the yellow button on the remote, only the front side lights and the under mirror lights are coming on - the rear lamps and the LED side markers are not.....I don't know if this is the case if I pull on the flasher....mainly as I haven't got out and checked!!

This is a new and intermittent issue - does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

Kevin

I have the same intermittent issue with the yellow button - sometimes the rear LED's come on, sometimes they don't and sometimes the sidelights don't come on. I wondered if it was governed by a daylight sensor, but it doesn't seem to be consistent to night time

Just tried them on my 2003 V70, and only the sidelights come on, not the dipped. However, the tail lights come on as do the interior lights.

First time I have ever used them !

If you have puddle lights in the side mirrors they should also work with the lights that MWMan lists.

Pre-facelift the Home Safe feature by pulling the light stalk operates the headlights, it's different to the pressing the yellow button.

Yes can use the yellow button or pull the flasher stalk

Same thing..... Except that by pulling the flasher stalk you also get the headlights and driving lights

That would be much better to come on with the yellow button Can bus extender function??

Now.. . Why don't my rear lights come on using yellow button or flasher stalk and it's intermittent.....

Hmmm now it seems that the problem has extended to the front side lights not coming on..... Only the under mirror lights

And still intermittent
