Default V70 t4

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience of a 2011 V70 T4 (or other G3 platform petrol/turbo model) having had a 'Reduced Engine Performance' warning light appear please?

Turning the car off allows normal driving again but soon symptom reoccurs. The turbo relief valve has recently been replaced and a number of other fault codes indicate possibilities. However, as it is a rare petrol version here in the UK there doesn't seem to be much experience out there to actual cause, resulting in trial & error for the garage. Parts are import only from Sweden as required due to low stock requirement here in the UK.

Thanks in advance Ian

No direct experience... however, it might be worth hunting around Fiesta ST forums - the T4 is the same Ford 1.6 turbo engine as found in the Fiesta ST mk 7 (and the polestar remap bears remarkable similarities to the Mountune remap for the Ford....).

I-S, Many thanks for that information gives me another avenue to look down. Apologies for my delayed thanks - I thought I had notifications of replies turned on but clearly not. Kind Regards Ian
