Default B230K EGR Plumbing

I'm looking for the pipe that connects the exhaust manifold to the box under the intake manifold; it's not for my car but an for an acquaintance to get it back on the road.

I can collect from Cheshire.

Is it essential to have it fitted?
I'd be tempted just to block off both ends. They are usually a fairly standard thread.

Had it been my car I'd have done just that. However, the owner wants to retain the EGR system which is why I've posted my request.
