Default V50 roof cross bars

Due to illness and personal issues it's been months since I've been on the forum; hopefully now I can start to rectify that again! Meanwhile I have altered the fleet once again, selling one of the 480s and now buying a 2010 V50 (on which I shall start a new showroom thread in due course).

I wondered if anyone on here has the cross bars that go across between the rails (preferably the genuine Volvo ones) that they are looking to part with? I just missed out on a set on ebay I was bidding on, and we really do need some. I know they're valuable and obviously I am ready to pay a reasonable price for them.

Many thanks

David

Good to see you on here again David.

Hope all is OK now. I've been laid up with the dreaded CV for a while, so my 480 hasn't emerged from hibernation in 2020.

Looking forward to the V50 thread!

No longer needed.

Following a trip to my local main dealer, their Health Check revealed a list of problems with the car that I could not realistically have discovered myself on inspection. Some dangerous, and all quite pricey to rectify (even if done elsewhere than the main dealer!).

So today I have returned the car where it came from for a full refund - and reported to DVSA that it should never have had a "clean pass" MOT with no advisories!

Sad end to what until yesterday had been a good story. Still, these things happen and so I shall be thinking again...
