I think the petrols have a terrible mpg tbh. Just got a new S90 with a T4 engine. The MPG is sub-30! Only city driving.

It’s a big beast of a car and city driving always hammers mpg, but if you look at my Fuelly record in my below signature you are going ok.

Another S90 D4 (2018) here also on the Yorkshire coast. On short runs (shopping/local with a light foot) it works out between 38 and 44 and on longer runs of mixed roads it is much nearer 65 again using a fairly light foot. The car has now done nearly 5,000 miles which have been mostly local and the display is showing my average mpg as 43.2 which for a big lump of a car isn't too bad in my eyes.

These are my tank-to-tank readings from new. As others have said though, short journeys do affect the mpg and late 30's low 40's is not unusual.

Note the change not only in time between the last two or three fill ups, but also in the mpg, quieter roads make such a difference.!

Hmm, that didn't work, try again... Hopefully I've attached a document in a more readable format.

My S90 D5 AWD with Polestar gets an average of 46mpg per tank full. I do 60% motorway driving and keep it at 73mph. Drive in Polestar mode all the time as I think it gets better mpg.
I am happy with this as I wanted a large car, not a frugal car.

I think diesel engines give really good mileage, typically over 40mpg which is great. Possibly over 50 on the motorway.

My T4 engine is hitting 30-35 on the motorway, and c. 20-22 on the London streets. Not terrible tbh, given the size of the car.

Around town, short journeys, my S90 D4 is terrible. In winter 22mpg!!

Motorway driving, careful and eco mode, sub 70, easily in excess of 50mpg

Guys, does the inscription 2018 onwards come with front and rear parking sensors as standard AND does it have a reversing camera as standard..?

Does anyone know the cost to upgrade a used 2018 S90 to have the 360 degree camera system..?

Thanks
