Default cannot select ok to answer telephone

i have a new 2106 d5 xc60 awd (so you know what instrument panel i have).all the dash works as it should except when some ring the screen says "OK" to answer "exit" to cancel.so seeem easy but when i select ok either on the steering wheel or the top right centre dash button ,it does not answer. so ????.the roller button on the wheel works on everything else perfect and it cannot be a tick box due to it saying Ok to answer. so any ideas plz....

Wow that is new. You'll need to wait 90 years for an answer, your model is a bit ahead of the times here we are only on 2015.

What phone are you using? That could well be the issue as I know that different phones have causes issues, especially some of the android flavours.

Might not be the issue, but I would start by deleting the Bluetooth connections and recreating them.

yes i have a samsung s6 and i have tried deleting the phone from the memory and blue teeth.all else does work on the phone too.so maybe ???

I would try to 'borrow' another phone from someone e.g. iPhone that is known to work and confirm that it works with your car.

You know that on the steering wheel what you do to answer is press the little 'wheel' - seems bizarre to me and I have often pressed the voice button by mistake

Have tried 2 s6 and 2 i phone 6s and still the same. Aslo when pressing the ok on the roller i find it rolls when trying to depress ok to select some thing.bit silly that one. As you say why not the speak button to answer
