Default Alternate V60 Polestar Rotors/ Pads?

Any brands/ recommendations on valid, safe and effective alternatives would be appreciated that won't break the bank...

At 26,000kms my V60 has some scoring on the rear disks even though the pads still have some meat on them. A friend suggests I will need new pads and rotors in the next month or so.

Has not been driven too hard - so thinking the traction control is causing the uneven wear and greater wear on the rear?

The car is:
2013 Delivered (2012 build)
V60, T6, R-Design Polestar, AWD
224 KW motor variant

A friend suggests i go for harder disks and softer pads - which my father did on his car too and had no loss perceptible in braking effectiveness and his wheels stay cleaner longer...

I'm based in Sydney so may have to ship them in or find the brands here. Our dollar is 30% less than it was 3 years ago so imports can be killer.

Depending on how badly scored the discs are I would have them skimmed by a reputable engineering company first. You should be able to find online the tolerances for minimum disc thickness or if you have a helpful dealership they will have the technical data.
It's highly unlikely they will have worn anywhere near the limit for replacement even after a skim. You have probably had grit find it's way on to the brake pads.

I believe the rears are made by Brembo and being a limited production run vehicle and the fact they are about the best brake people in the business you will probably struggle to find any other replacement. I personally would stick to standard even for track day use.

My Mitsubishi EVO with Brembo brakes suffered from scoring of the rear discs if I didn't power wash the brakes regularly.
I would try a skim and new pads and see how you go first before replacement of the discs.
