vvt valve/solonoid reqd hi

hi,new to volvo,just purchased a 02 plate v40 1.6 estate and find i need a vvt valve or complete solonoid,any help greatly appreciated.

Most probably it is your VVT pulley that has failed. If you are not sure, try posting in that thread, or post in the S40/V40 dedicated section of this forum: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=17

I have this VVTi valve.

Tested, and fully working.

I bought it for a friend who has a s40 2001 2.0. but had a broken wheel not vvti valve.

Can sell it for £25 including postage, or U can pick up in Cambridge

Have you got the pulley and the solenoid?

No, only selenoid valve.
