Default TomTom iPhone Kit

Looking to buy a tomtom kit and as they are not in the shops I though I'd ask you guys here first. If it has the pad for iPhone 4 all the better but I can get that myself if you don't have it. Also be handy if you have the pad for the dash.

Cheers

What the heck do you need one of those for, get a Brodit powered holder for your iPhone as there is no benefit from the external GPS feed the TT iPhone car kit offers compared to what's built in to the iPhone.

If you need more volume to hear the app running on the iPhone consider fitting either a Parrot or iO-Play BT kit to the car and use that for streaming the audio viav the A2DP Bluetooth connection - Mike

I've got one of these so let me give you the low down. Set a destination in the sat nav and the phone rings. Cuts out the sat nav just as you need to know where your going. When the phone call ends the sat nav needs to re set. Same happens when you need to make a call. On the i phone three gs that can take another thirty seconds or more. Now your lost. Volume is too low at anything over 70. I phone sat nav ap doesnt seem to update like my Tom Tom does. Supposed to be better with the i phone four which i'm updating to soon. If your still interested I'll let you know but my advice for the money is no. Hope this helps.

Cheers for the info Mike. I have both 4 and 4s to use in the car. When I'm using TomTom at the moment and get a call it goes straight back to nav within 5 seconds.

Would you like to sell yours?
