XC70: Electrical - Scroll wheel not working

Hi everyone, I recently bought a 2009 XC70, I hope I'm asking this in the right thread. Wondering if it's common for the scroll wheel and Read button to stop working? Is this easy to fix? Any tips?

Yes, quite common.

I bought a second hand stalk off eBay. It worked better but had no scroll - but the enter worked, I bought yet another and luckily the 2nd one worked fine!

VERY easy to fit. Two screws on the cowling underneath, lever off the plastic and one screw holding in the stalk.

Thanks for that! I guess I'll pull the column cover and see what's happening underneath there. Appreciate the help

So I bit the bullet and spent $198 Cdn for a brand new stalk. Works like a charm.
