1991 Volvo 240 2.0 GL Auto - 53,000 miles

Now that I've purchased a 940, the time has come to sell the 240.

It's a 1991 240 2.0 GL Auto that has covered 53,000 miles. It is MOT'd until June 22nd 2012 (with no advisories) and taxed for 6 months.

It has power steering, front electric windows and central locking. The sunroof is sealed closed due to a broken spring in the mechanism and there is a slight knock from the exhuast when driving on uneven roads. There is no rust on the bodywork or underneath. The interior is immaculate and all original. Engine is quiet and smooth, as is the gearbox.

Costs me £156 per year to insure with Footman James.

All seems too quiet regarding my advert. How about some feedback?

I'm think that I'm asking a fair price unlike some of the dealers and dreamers that want £1000 plus.

Any old heap of crap with an MOT, regardless of make and model, is worth £400 at least so I don't think I'm being unresonable given the condition of the car.

sunday car.


problem might be what people can get otherwise for 750.

perhaps an estate with 120.000 miles????
