I wondered if my maf was a bit knackered and therefore not reading correctly at low air flows? Therefore 4th at 2700rpm odd is better than 5th at 2000 odd rpm.

Another thought was that the turbo is a bit worn and therefore works better at higher rpm?

Might try the same run in 4th at 60 all the way and also seeing what happens at 70 in 5th.

Hi. Run downhill in gear without using the accelerator. I think I was in fifth then changed to 4th as speed built up.
