Default Adding power to a D5252T

Hi.
So, i have a 850 diesel with a manual gearbox and was wondering how i would go about adding power to the thing?
As far as i've read and heard from friends, its usually not a good idea to mess with the pump by moving the cover, and im puzzeled as to how i could up the boost when the wastegate has no bar to adjust (as thats taken care by the ecu from what i've read).
One thing would be to just to go bigger injector nozzles but then all i'd be doing is spewing soot as the boost is still at the factory level.
I have read about switching the old MAP sensor out for a 3bar one but would that actually make the turbo make more boost?

Can anyone here open my eyes as to how i could get some more power out of this beast?
