Outside temperature

My outside temperature guage on the dash must be playing up as it said 8 degrees this morning yet I've had to scrape ice off the screen. Anyone know where the temp sensor is and how easy it is to replace

I think it's clipped into the plastic under tray in front of the radiator with a two pin plug so should be dead easy to change?

There's 2 of them one at the o/s and the other at the n/s underneath.
