G'day Folks,

Can any one tell me more specifically which of the three types of Amazon seat these are?
I've been told the first Amazon seats were the same as the PV Then there were two more types The ones I have don't have head rests - so I guess they are the "middle" type (which years - I have no clue)

Army;
Those certainly look like Amazon Seats to me also...and I wouldn't call the version with HeadRests a different "Type"...the were substantially the same as the earlier version which came without HRs, only with Receiver Tubes and HRs added. You don't show the SeatBacks of yours, but HRs can be added...to determine if your Seatbacks have RTs and are "HR Ready" feel around at top of SB about 11 1/2" apart. If RTs are present, great!...you don't need to open up SBs and add. There are another non-invasive options also. See also: http://www.sw-em.com/headrest_upgrading_notes.htm Good Hunting! |

They are the 1965 to 1970 seats. The pre-62 seats are more similar in style to the PV seats, but I don't know if they are a straight fit.
There's good information here: http://www.volvoamazonpictures.se/up...upholstery.php Regards Lucien |
