C30 Trim : - 2008 C30 Drivers seat wont tilt and slide

Hi All,

The drivers seat on my mothers 2008 C30 wont tilt and slide anymore - by that I mean the handle at the top of the seat that you use to tilt the backrest forward and then slide the seat to enable pedestrian access to the rear no longer works.

The handle seems to jam and not move as much as a passenger side (which still works).

Has anyone had this before and overcome it? I'm planning to remove the seat at the weekend to have a look.

My seat handle lifts, and the seat tilts forward, but the sliding mechanism no longer functions so you have to use the bar at the front to slide it. Is this a common issue? Anyone know a fix?
