Do we know what Martin Bashir traded it in against? Perhaps the Popemobile?
Seriously, it seems to me that several substantial leaps of faith are required to conclude, from the fact that someone sold a car that he had promised to keep, that that person is un-Christian and/or in breach of his employment's "code of honour". Having said that, the car is obviously a good'un because I enjoyed a very nice Mary Berry hotpot recipe for lunch today. |

I must admit i thought the BBC codes of conduct extends beyond direct employment. As with the military the association and bringing the service into disrepute is viewed very seriously.
