Volvo 240 series /Saloon/Estate. Must be on the road, taxed/MOT'd no projects please. Pretty well anything considered, but must be in reasonable distance of Oxford/Bristol, and I must be able to collect next Saturday, 29th [it's a long story....] CASH WAITING. COLIN 07797 730957

Hi Colc welcome to the forum for a start . Now you mention you want a 240 , I have available a 240 automatic estate . Its the 2.0i engine .

Its a 2.0i auto with mechanical injection. It has a nearly full service history with loads of old MOT's etc. A replacement engine was fitted by a Volvo dealer 67K ago when the mileage was about 140K. The speedo was relaced at the same time so it now reads 67K. All the details are in the service history. It was owned by an old guy down in Dorset for many years until he became too old to drive and sold it to his next door neighbour who hardly used it. Mechanically its in very good condition and starts on the button every time. It drives OK and the brakes are good. . Electric windows work as does the radio and driver seat heater. The bodywork is solid including underneath.

Would that be of any interest to you ?

Its taxed till the end of January and has 6 months MOT .

Havnt got any pics at present , my location is just over the Severn Bridge not far from Cardiff .

I've got a 1988 E 240 GL estate
2.0 manual
7 seater model
127k miles with piles of service history
10months mot
6m tax

drives nicely, tidy old barge, no rust bodywork nice, interior nice
e/windows and c/locking working fine.
collect from Twickenham, is that too far for you?
