Default VOC Affinity scheme

Does anyone know how the Volvo affinity scheme % discount works? What I mean is do Volvo or the dealer subsidise the % discount? I have a new V60 on order with the affinity discount (and a bit more), but checking today the discount for Q3 has increased 2.5% so I’m wondering what my chances are of renegotiating! I do have the ability to walk away since I’ve not actually driven it yet but don’t want to do that as I just locked in the spec this week! Thanks!

I was told when buying XC60 that the affinity offer was good for some models. It I got a better deal negotiating with dealer direct. Or so they said the dealer preferred not to go through affinity (mine through RYA) I honk I got a slightly better deal but shop around a few dealers I was buying a car already in production not a factory new order
