Clips for Body Trim
I've recently bought new rear wheel arch crome trims for my 1974 164 but the clips (provided by the bodyshop who resprayed the car) don't seem to work: they are extremely difficult to squeeze into the holes in the bodywork and once in, the little pilot shaft that's supposed to be tapped in doesn't go all the way.
Speaking of trim, the chrome strips under the doors also need a few clips which are proving hard to come by (the ones supplied by the bodyshop are too small). Has anyone had any experience in this? Many thanks Alan |

Have you tried your dealer. I would have though they could obtain these through the classic parts division "Genuine Classic Parts AB Sweden". There web site is www.gcp.se I don't know what it lists. It is amazing what parts are still available through the dealers - ours is exceptionally helpful.
