V70: - Change Gear Shift Knob V70 2004 Manual

Hi guys - I'm new to the site and I guess this subject has been covered before but I can't find a thread..

I need to change the gear shift knob on my 2004 V70 (233,000 miles). The leather has all but disintegrated.

How to I get the old one off to be able to fit a new one.

Think it's unscrew the knob and the bottom of the gaiter flips out as it's on a clipped frame, pull up and fitting new one is reverse. Not had a P3 but seem to remember it was thus on my P1.
