DVD remote (universal?)

Hi Guys,

Ok I have just bought a xc90 and it has the factory 10 Disc DVD changer/player in the boot with the TV screens in the back. I didn't get the remote with the car, and I can get a replacement for around £90. But I am asking if anyone on here has got a universal remote to work with the DVD player, as you can pick a few up for around £20?

Hello, the 10-disk system is not a factory installation, it was done by the UK importers. Try an e-mail to Elliot2 on the forums as he designed the 10 disk system and keeps spares etc.

oh right ok thanks.. yeah Elliot2 has quoted me £90 + p&p

just trying to sort something out that might be cheaper. If a universal remote can't be used then I'll have to cough up I suppose

I picked up a remote control on ebay for about £10 last year, I would just keep looking on there first. Do you need a photo of the remote to help you identify it?

I tried a 'One for all URC-7140' Universal and couldn't get it to work, I've just ordered a replacement one from Elliot2.
