So new series of Luther on TV tonight...

Will Idris still be driving a Volvo? Still a 740?

He's done what many of us RWD Volvo drivers have done. Started with a 240, liked it, then upgraded to a newer 740. Disappointed with interior falling to bits and the all American limo styling quickly becoming unfashionable. He trades it back for the timeless indestructable 240.

Did anyone else think the gangsters car was a terrible choice. I love an xj jag but base spec, wheeltrims and part cloth interior...he'd have been laughed off the manor!!
