Thumbs up

Saw nice gold 240 estate earlier on A491 heading towards Bromsgrove. I was heading opposite direction in the 760 and got nod off the driver, so must be an enthusiast.

A GL Estate twice in 2 days, both times forgot me phone/cam

Dark Blue, with a full metal roof rack, quite probably a D6 as most are over here.

Oh got a big old wave 1st time as I was in my 240, yesterday I was in the 850 & he 'snubbed' me despite my wave, lol

I think mine must have some kind of cloaking device..............I drive almost the length of the UK from Wiltshire to Sutherland 5, 6 times a year. A round trip of 1250 miles each time and no one ever sees me

It's not like it's not conspicuous with full bespoke roofrack and big tyres!

On a trip to Plymouth today from Redruth in Cornwall,in my wife's Torslanda, I spotted three different 240s!
First one was heading uphill east on the A30 dual carriageway towards the Padstow turning. That was a gleaming dark blue 240 Estate pulling a caravan.( I think it was 'E' reg.)
Second one was parked in Plymouth Sainsburys car park, again dark blue. This was a saloon,I think it was 'C' reg.
Third one was a silver estate, I spotted it way off on the other dual carriageway of the Plymouth bypass as I was heading home.
Nice to see some 240s,I haven't seen one in this part of Cornwall for months!

So there are some others down here in the SW. And to add to all those, Chris, we saw a silver K reg. Torslanda negotiating the narrow lanes of Mevagissey today.

Yesterday we were parked quite close to an 850 estate and, sorry to boast, it really emphasised the elegant stylish lines of our Tors!

Yesterday in the car park of a local DIY store, saw this saloon drive in:

It was a diesel........ was 'smokin' like a 3 badge stoker' to prove it too.

I liked the 'boot rack' however the front offside wing had been damaged and the repair looked like it had been done with 'paper mash' & badly painted afterwards lol

Wow, I've never actually seen a 240 diesel in this country (chances are it's non-turbo diesel)! Looks a bit used and abused but hey, it's still going!

All D24's smoke, it's a design feature to keep BMW's further behind you!

Over here the petrol versions are very much the rare ones!

A G reg. very dark colour (green?) going quite fast on the A390 through Lostwithiel this afternoon. By the lack of shiny bits I presume it was a GLT.
