only running on three cylinders
Help guys! i went through a puddle a very big puddle as i was forced onto the otherside of the road so i had to go through it. when i came out the other side of the puddle the car seemed to only running on three cylinders and a clicking noise is coming from just under the fuse box. i disconnected the air mass sensor plug and the clicking noise goes away but when i connect it back up the clicking is back. Also the engine management light is on. Please give advise.... Many thanks guys Danny |

Try spaying WD40 on all the electrics under the bonnet to get ride of the water. If the water was deep and some got into the engine you may have bent some thing "conrod or valves"

You need to have it scanned for trouble codes ASAP. You risk damaging components by doing unguided disconnections and reconnections.
