hi guys

i have read a lot about the etm being a problem and mine is on its way out, i have been offered a second hand one with the yellow sticker on it for £50 i know this is the replacement one for the original one on mine. has anyone gone down this route to replace it obviously with the reprograming or can they only be programmed once?

thanks

I have 2002 S60 Bi-fuel and trying to find the cause of my LPG problem did lots of research on ETM. If you buy second hand one how would you know that is any good? I personaly would not buy second hand part that if it fails you on the motorway can cause very dangerous situation. The reason why I told you that re-progamming is expencive is because I was quoted here in London by Volvo £200+ only for reprogramming, obviously outside London may be cheaper.

thanks

Peter
