Looking at 2000 S80 - does this also have ETM issue?

Greetings! Looking at helping a friend buy a "new" car. Is the bad ETM an issue with S80s as well, or just S70s?

P.S. sorry to hear of everyone's troubles here...

Not if it's a diesel or built after 2002. Later cars have Bosch ETM's not the rubbish Marelli.
