2 x 850 t5R projects for sale on Ebay
Just found this Volvo 850 t5R whilst having my daily browse. Low mileage and a manual. Could be a great project for someone.

I would have been tempted by the cream saloon if I hadn't just bought the 850R, but the green estate is an insurance write off... and the advert... lets just say it took me a while to read it

Green ones now sold. 1 previous owner and less than 100k miles. Not too sure if it needs the replacement engine but not a bad buy these days.

I would not touch a cat C. Cat D is something that they could repair but chose not to. C is something exonomically written off. I would bet good money it was smacked extremely hard and repaired on the cheap. |

My S70 is Cat C, nothing wrong with it structurally but I assume the insurance company decided the entire running gear was too expensive to replace after it was stolen.

If you know what your looking at you can pick up a decent car despite it being cat c or d.
A friend of mine picked up a BMW 330i se with only 52k on the clock a few back for just under £3k as it was a cat d. After doing some digging the cat d related to it being a stolen/recovered car that the keys had been lost. The car needed a new key ordering and reprogramming and then it was good to go. Insurance company deemed a new key from BMW to be too expensive and the previous owners did not want the car back as it been taken from their house.

Paint code is 607. Its commonly called Gul but Volvo's official colour name is 'creme yellow' I think it was called 'faded yellow' in Oz. Gul is Swedish for Yellow of course.
