240 General: - fuel pump

Hi I have a volvo 245 1990 H reg. How do I find the fuel pump, I have checked the relay and it dosent buzz, with ignition on or the terminals by passed, so I think it is the pump. Wher is it?

the car has two fuel pumps,one in the tank and another under the car in line with the rear passenger door,protected by a metal plate.

you can hear the intank one working if you open the filler cap and put your ear close to the hole.

check and clean the fuse and terminals as well
it would help if you tell us exactly what problems youre having so the clever people can help you further.
