940 project has to go.
SO, life and ill health finally got in the way of me completing my project.
I have been hanging on in the hopes that I could get it finished - not to be. 1991 Turbo / auto engine and box perfect but currently has intermittent starting issues. It HAS to be something simple as all the major components have been checked / replaced. Lamda light comes on as a clue ?? So sold as a non starter. So regrettably it's up for sale along with [ separately or as a deal ] ] all the goodies I've accumulated for it. You will be hard put to find one with such good rust free body and chassis. One very minor scratch at rear and 1 ding the size of a 2 p piece on the front wheel arch. STILL has the intermittent starting issues. When it runs it's as sweet as a nut - no noises, smoke, rattles or anything weird. Absolute fortunes spent by PO including NEW head, rad, steering rack, turbo ............ no expense spared. As a recap - it has BRAND new suspension - -40mm Kilen springs and Bilstein dampers.Tow bar fitted. Looking for sensible offers - suspension alone cost nearly a grand. The rear wheels in the pic are NOT with the car [ 8.5 x 16" Jaguar ] but I have a set available with spacers. |
