Default S60/V70 rear springs.

Hi all,

I could do with new rear springs on my 2002 V70 as they seem to be weak, the back end sags with any sort of weight in there. S60 items look like they physically fit but the part numbers are different, what are the differences? are they weaker than V70 items, as they're for a saloon car?

Might be worth giving Holdcroft Volvo a call, they should be able to advise.

The designation plate on the wing in the engine bay will give the code for the rear springs for your car.

While there are many OE numbers, in general P2 V70 has 3 kinds of rear springs:

1) for nivomat self leveling absorbers
2) regular stiffness for regular absorbers
3) heavy duty for regular absorbers for heavy towing or loading

number 2 and 3 are interchangeable
