Problems with 2007 XC90
Hi, my Wife recently collected her 2007 spec XC90. We have had a few problems with it which I wanted to share and see if other's have had similar problems;
Problems noted to date. *Puncture mark in the leather of the 3rd row seat (driver's side). The dealer said it was interfering with the seat brackets and couldn't be helped...although they have ordered new seats *Really annoyingly there is a piece of black foam jammed between the dashboard and the front wind screen (passengers side - left for those in the US). The dealer says it's there for soundproofing and to stop rattles and is on every model. Whilst I can beleive it's for sound deadening I can't beleive it's placed in such a way on all models as to look lke someone has stuffed in place as an after thought. *Stitching on driver's side leather seat coming undone already *Carpet in driver's foot well (left of brake pedal) keeps coming away from side. *Rear parking sensor intermittently sounds continuously when reversing (even when no objects are near). At this point if you put the gearbox into Park the alarm stops, move to reverse and the alarm sounds. Turn the engine completely off , restart and place gearbox into reverse then no alarm sounds. Parking sensor works as usual. I'd appreciate any feedback on the rear parking sensor and sound deadening foam as I think I'm being given the run around by the dealer |
