who programmed the new key to the car ? Did he test it afterwards? does the other key work?

its working now... when checking the CEM a connector was loose. reconnected this and all works fine now

If I am not mistaken the receiver for remote is on top of the instrument cluster, just on top of the clocks. Just get a used unit from scrap. They fail sometimes
