  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Lifting the dashboard would require a lot more work. Trust me..... lol. One of the main bolts securing the dashboard, is behind the speedo anyway.

To remove the steering wheel cover, you need to undo these 3 screws. Then carefully unclip the two parts

OH! I didn't realize they could be split, i figured i would have to remove the indicator stick and everything!
I won't have time to get it done today unfortunately, but i will update the thread when i do.

Quick Update!

Thank you so much for the guidance!

I got it working, changed a bulb and even decided to spice up the dials as i was going!

How to change bulbs behind Speedometer on a 2001 V40.

this is a job i need to do and would love a bit of help.

ps what bulbs go behind the speedo and check engine light on the panel.
