It’s a safety feature. It makes you doubt your own sanity, grounds you, reduced confidence - less chance of an accident.

What bothers me more is, that the sound always comes from the left speaker regardless of me signalling right or left. You´d think they would coordinate that.

I get this but also recently I’ve had (in the wet mainly) and error message on the indicator stalk- book service. But when I go into the menu to find the stored fault there is nowt!
It seems not worth a dealer visit (not 90 miles for me only 20), but nice if it can be fixed. The issue is I know even before going that the dealer will hook it up, find little, ask to book the car back in again after keeping me waiting for half a day (that’s been my experience so far anyway)
