Default 1800E silencer hangers

Looking for the hanger that goes on the engine side of the rear silencer for an 1800e. (suspect they are the same for late model S). My car came without. This would clamp to the single exhaust pipe and "hangs" off two stubs that hang off the underbody.

I have the far-side one that clamps off the dual exhaust side and "hangs" off the single stub.

Thanks.

Thought a diagram might help..... Maybe these hangers are part of the exhaust kit and come welded to the pipe?

Default Exhaust support

Hi,

Sorry, I can't help you with a bracket but I can confirm that it isn't part of the exhaust or welded to it.

As you say, it hangs from two studs on the body with rubber grommet inserts to cushion the fixture, the bottom end clamps around the exhaust pipe via a split circular clamp with pinch-bolt.

Might be worth a call to Simon at Brookhouse to see if it's an available Volvo part?

Good luck,

Paul
