Smile Updated RTI DVD?

I'm a new S80 owner (a 2005 D5 SE Lux), and I've got the amusingly old school dashboard protruding RTI navigation system.

Unfortunately, the disc dates from 2004 so my satnav presumably thinks my commute home from work is done at 70 mph across open countryside, rather than the nice "new" A428.

So a few questions... Where is the best place to get an updated disc without breaking the bank, and is this one of the systems where "backups" of discs can used, if you get my meaning?

Hi.

To answer the question can "backup discs be used" most probably, the disc I have in my XC70 d5 2005 is such a disc and it even updated the system when I first installed it.

As to the best place to get one , well google is your friend here.
It can be difficult to recommend a site as they seem to change name on a regular basis, certainly the site I used has gone !

"satnavdvd" is one such site and they offer pay-pal which means you don't give them any card details.

Its a case of you makes your choice and you pays your money.
