CR-902 audio system displays off
The battery went flat and was replaced but instead of displaying CODE the CR902 just displays the word OFF. The radio can be heard faintly at full volume and none of the buttons apart from the off switch work. I have tried disconnecting the radio and reconnecting it but the display is the same. I have the coad but I cant get to the point where I can input it to the radio. The radio was working fine before the battery was changed, can anyone help please.

Was the radio in the "on" position when the battery went flat?
I think if you disconnect the battery or the stereo unit overnight it should reset itself. Or it could possibly reset itself by just leaving it in the "on" position (ignition key in position 1) and leaving for several hours. It should then ask you for the code. Hope I'm right... anyone wish to confirm?

To confirm:-Leave the car in a safe place with the key at position 1 for two hours the the radio will ask you for the code,This only usually happens when you have put the wrong code in three times,so check you have the right code.

you need to have the ignition at position 1 for about 2 to 3 hours with the radio on, it will then change to "code", from there you can enter your code and it will be back to working order, if you do not know your stereo code, main dealer will give you, i phoned them up and they just took my registration and gave the 4 digit code over the phone,

See the post above yours - a dealer should be able to help.
It worked for me when our current car came w/o the radio code.
