Default Wheels 16 or 17"

Looking for a set of wheels, must have decent tyres. I have a 940 with original 15" Aries wheels, but fancy a change. Located Preston

940 is rear wheel drive so better to ask in the 700/900 section.

Good luck with that - the 940 has a different offset measurement which means basically any front wheel drive cars wheels won't fit on it and there doesn't seem to be many in the custom world which will fit either.

I even experimented with the 960s wheels on the 940 but again, won't clear the caliper. The 960 wheels will fit on the 850 though but I duno why anyone would do that. 960 typically the superior car.

Hi - if you're still looking, I have a set of 5 columba's 16" with very good tyres, from my 1996 850. They have been stored for 6 years as the car sadly was scrapped. 4 Avon tyres used but good tread, plus new spare - unused. All wheels with centre caps. Tyres 205/50/16. You'd need to check if wheels are ok for a v940, internet tells me they are 6.5J, ET43. 5 bolt holes. Let me know - text 07722 305816, thanks.
