From the photo you have taken you definitely need a paper filter and 100% not the metal canister type.
Get a Mann paper filter from Euro Car Parts and make sure that you have the current discount code. The plastic housing will feel very tight but be careful and it should unscrew ok but it's far easier if you have the proper tool. Lase make one.
