Sensus post-2014 HDD backup and replacement
I've read that for the pre-2014 version of Sensus (RTI), the hard drive could be unlocked and cloned to have a spare disk, or maybe even moving the content over to an SSD.
Is this password known for the 2014 and later infotainment systems, or have anyone successfully been able to clone this drive? Because of the nature of the mechanical hard disks, I'm pretty sure the car will outlive it, regardless of how good it is, so I'd be a bit more at ease if I could pull it out and make an image that I could later restore from if needed. Any input appreciated |

I wondered about this as well. An SSD would be a much better option.
